This was part of a project looking at the environment and how people interact within it. I spent time in Pearson Park, Hull sketching and talking with people. Passers by described achieving a feeling of calmness by the lake. This illustration is my interpretation of the quote by Confucius, ‘Balance is the perfect state of still water’, which communicates this feeling of peace.
